游戏有大有小，小的有孩子们喜欢玩的警察抓强盗的游戏（a game of cops and robbers），大的就有各类运动比赛了，如兵乓球赛（a game of table tennis）。再往大了说，还有奥运会（the Olympic Games）、英联邦运动会（The Commonwealth Games）等。

说起 staple ，可能大多数人想到的都是“订书针”这个概念。订书针与相对应的订书机（stapler）共同构成了日常办公必不可少的工具之一。

美味的饭菜带来的唯一烦恼就是一直在长膘（put up beef），好在这段清苦日子又可以减掉些体重（take some of the beef off somebody）瘦回来一些。
