单词的用法及固定搭配

April，January，February等词都不可指阴历，指阴历四月通常用the fourth moon，正月是the first moon，二月是the second moon，等等。

approximate作“（虽然并不正确但是）接近正确的”解，a very approximate estimate是“一个几乎完全正确的估计”

approve作“赞成”或“认为良好”解的时候后面现在几乎总有of

用作“了解”解时apprehend不及understand普通，用作“恐惧”解时apprehend不及fear普通。

appreciative后面接of。例如：We are appreciative of your suggestions.

appreciation of是英美通用的，appreciation for是美国英语。

appreciate后面接以that引导的从句主要是美国用法。

作“约会”解时appointment后面接for，如an appointment for tomorrow morning和an appointment for seven o'clock。
