appreciation of是英美通用的，appreciation for是美国英语。

appreciate后面接以that引导的从句主要是美国用法。

作“约会”解时appointment后面接for，如an appointment for tomorrow morning和an appointment for seven o'clock。

appendix的复数形式用appendices或appendixes都可以，appendixes普通些。
