国家医保局、教育部、国家卫生健康委等部门3月2日发布通知，开展儿童参加基本医疗保险专项行动，保障儿童参保权益，维护儿童健康。通知明确提出力争到2024年底，80%以上新生儿在出生当年参保。
Chinese authorities on March 2 released a circular on the launch of a campaign to expand basic medical insurance coverage for children, aiming to safeguard the rights, interests and health of children in the country. The circular, issued by the National Healthcare Security Administration, the Ministry of Education and the National Health Commission, sets the goal that by the end of 2024, over 80 percent of newborns are covered by national basic medical insurance in the year of birth.
