为增强全民国防观念，国防教育法修订草案4月23日提请十四届全国人大常委会初次审议。
Chinese lawmakers on April 23 started deliberating a draft revision to the Law on National Defense Education that is expected to enhance the national defense awareness of citizens. The draft was submitted to an ongoing session of the 14th National People's Congress Standing Committee for the first reading.
