CAS museum to commemorate the "two bombs, one satellite"

2024年10月16日，我国第一颗原子弹爆炸成功60周年之际，中国科学院与“两弹一星”纪念馆经改造升级后重新开放。中国科学院与“两弹一星”纪念馆位于中国科学院大学雁栖湖校区的怀柔火箭试验基地旧址。
A museum to commemorate the "two bombs, one satellite", referring to China's first atomic bomb, intercontinental ballistic missile and satellite, has been renovated and reopened to public on October 16, 2024, coinciding with the 60th anniversary of China's first atomic bomb explosion. The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) transformed the site of a former rocket test base, located on the Huairou campus of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in the suburbs of Beijing, into the memorial museum.
