weakness

weakness在作“嗜好”或“爱好”解的时候，前面通常用a，后面接for。例如：He has a weakness for detective fiction. 下面各句都可以说，但似乎都不很普通：

• Detective fiction is one of his weaknesses.
• He told me of his weaknesses for detective fiction and ghost stories.
