thunder 的用法及固定搭配

thunder

thunder统指“雷声”，前面不可加a，也没有复数形式。有下面两点该注意：

（1）“一阵雷声”该说a peal of thunder。“多阵雷声”该说peals of thunder。

（2）复数形式thunders只用在譬喻里，如thunders of applause（雷鸣般的掌声）。
