sentiment是“情感”，一般说来是好的，sentimentality是“过分的、假装的或漫无限制的情感”，是不好的。例如：These essays have plenty of sentiment, but no sentimentality. 但有时sentiment也被用作sentimentality解。例如：He was sorry he could not often see a flim entirely free from sentiment.
