2.The prisoner proved an innocent man里的The往往省去，作Prisoner...。
3.take prisoner（把［某人］俘虏）是习语，prisoner前面没有a，如They have taken him prisoner。We have taken them prisoner和We have taken them prisoners都可以说。把take改作make也可以，但不很普通。The fly got into the cobweb and was thus held prisoner等句子里在prisoner前面习惯没有a。
