persist
1.persist后面接in和动名词，不接不定式，如可以说She persisted in telling me about her pets，不可说She persisted to tell me about her pets。
2.persist不一定指好的事，但persevere一定指好的事，如He persisted in mispronouncing my name里的persisted不可改作persevered。
3.persist有时后面接以that引导的从句，作“继续说”解。例如：He persisted to me that he knew what he was talking about.
