people
1.a people和one people都是“一个民族”，不是“一个人”。peoples是“多个民族”，不是“多个人”。比较下面每组里的两语：
- many people(许多人)
many peoples(许多民族) - one or two people(一两个人)
one or two peoples(一两个民族)
a people or two只指“一两个民族”，不指“一两个人”，因为a people决不可指“一个人”。
2.a people和one people当作单数或复数都可以。在当作单数的时候，该当作属于中性。例如：A people is often known by its customs.
3.the Chinese people, the German people等表达方式指“全民族”。
4.people用作“家属”（指父母、兄弟、姐妹等人）前面用my，his等词。例如：My people used to live in the country.和My wife's people are staying with us now.以及I'd like you to meet my people.
5.two people, a hundred people, many people等表达方式很普通，有人以为该改用persons，但事实上不普通。
