1.obstacle指一个一个的障碍，并不是抽象名词，如可以说He has conquered a great many obstacles，不可说He has conquered a great deal of obstacle.

2.obstacle后面接to和名词或动名词。例如：This is an obstacle to progress.和There are many obstacles to learning a language from conversation.
