2.He lectured (to) the children on good manners（他给孩子们作关于礼貌的演讲）有to或没有to都可以。

注意下面两句里都用lectured，不用lectured to，第一句里用on，第二句里用for：

• He lectured the children on their laziness.
• He lectured the children for being lazy.
