-ful加在名词后面形成名词，有“满”的意思。armful（一抱），bagful（满袋），boxful（满盒），cupful（满杯），glassful（满玻璃杯），handful（满把），mouthful（满口），spoonful（满匙）等词的复数形式是armfuls，bagfuls等，如two armfuls of wood（两抱柴）和three bagfuls of flour（三满袋面粉）。
