feeling

1.hurt（或wound）his（或your等）feelings是习语（注意用复数形式），作“伤他（或你等）的感情”解。feelings指一般的感受性，跟“感情”不同。注意下面各句里都用复数形式：

• He seems to have no feelings.
• She has no regard for our feelings.
• Please spare her feelings.
• You ought to control your feelings.
• The speech appeals to the feelings rather than to the reason.
