1.复数形式evenings有时用作副词，作“在每天晚上”解，主要是美国用法。例如：She reads the newspapers evenings.
2.in the evening里有the，但at evening里没有the。at evening作“在傍晚”解。
3.in the evening有时指经常的事，有时指一次的事，in the evenings一定指经常的事。例如：
