consent

1.consent是不及物动词，后面接to或不定式。例如：Will you consent to this suggestion?和Will you consent to give him another chance?第二句里的give改作giving也可以。

2.consent（名词）后面接to或不定式，如my consent to the proposal和my consent to consider the proposal。

比较下面两句：

• The boy has got his mother's consent to take him to the pictures.（take属于母亲）
• The boy has got his mother's consent to go to the pictures.（go属于男孩）
