2.不可说a best book, a best boy等。
3.had best跟had better同义，但不很普通。
4.get（有时用have）the best of（胜过，占…的上风）是美国英语，相当于英国英语get the better of。
5.best seller指“畅销书”，有时指这种书的著作人，有时指畅销的唱片等。
6.It is best that he (should) read the book once more里的should可有可无。
