The air hostess was in a small kitchen at the back of the airplane preparing the trays for lunch when a little old lady came and spoke to her, “Could you please tell me,” she asked, “where the ladies’ room is in this airplane?”
空姐正在飞机后部的小厨房里准备午餐托盘，一个小老太太走过来对她说：“你能告诉我飞机上的女厕所在哪里吗？”
“Yes, madam,” said the air hostess and smiled, “It is right at the other end of the airplane at the front.”
“噢，夫人，”空姐笑着说，“就在飞机那头——在前面。”
The little old lady went too far. She walked all the way to the front of airplane, opened the door in front of her, and saw the captain of the airplane and the other officers. They were all busy at their work and did not see her. She went out again, shut the door and returned to the air hostess.
小老太太步履匆匆，一直朝飞机前头走去。她拉开前面的门，看到机长和其他机务人员，他们都在忙自己的工作，没看见她。她又走出来，关上门，回到了空姐那里。
“Oh, didn’ t you find it, madam?” the girl asked her.
“噢，你没找到厕所吗，夫人？”女孩问她。
“Yes, I did.” Said the little old lady. “But there are four men in the ladies’ room watching
television.”
“不，我找到了，”小老太太说，“可厕所里有四个男人正在看电视呢。”
