move、shift、transfer与remove这些动词均可表示“从一处移往另一处”之意。
move : 普通用词，指从一处到另一外的任何距离的转移。
- Phil moved towards the window.
菲尔朝窗户走去。 - He could hear someone moving around in the room above.
他能听到楼上屋里有人走动。
shift : 侧重位置与方向的改变。
- 服务员皱了皱眉头，突然警惕起来。然后她改变了站姿，把重心从一只脚移到另一只脚。

transfer : 一般表示转送或移交迁移，尤指交通运输中的换乘或职务的调动等。
