深入解读
从词源上来看， intrinsic 一词源自拉丁语 intrinsecus （内在地、在内心地），先后经中古拉丁语 intrinsecus （内心的、内部的）和古法语 intrinsèque （内心的、里面的）最早于15世纪末进入英语，也是用来表示“内部的、体内的”，不过这一含义现在仅用在解剖学领域中，尤指肌肉完全包含在它所作用的器官内。
从这个概念出发，等到了17世纪40年代后， intrinsic 开始发展出现在的主要含义指“固有的、本质的、本身的、内在的”，侧重指属于某个事物本身的极其重要或基本的性质、特征或属性的，并与所有影响该事物的可用性、重要性、价值等的外部关系、联系或条件分开考虑。比如：
- 硬币的固有价值
