Detour 一词比较好记,不仅在拼写上以熟词 tour 结尾,而且从词源上来看,也与 tour 同源,两者都源自于拉丁语 tourner (转)。
其中, detour 先后经拉丁语 destorner (转到一边)、古法语 destor (旁路、旁道;借口、遁词)以及法语 détour 于1738年进入英语,也是用来表示“绕行的路、迂回路”以及“绕行、迂回、兜圈子”,主要指为避开某物或参观沿途某个地方而采取的偏离直接或常规路线的较长路线或迂回路线,特别是修路时临时替换施工路段的环形路,比如:
- 道路施工,车辆绕行。
