As I walked into my history class one Monday morning, I suddenly realized that a big assingnment was due.

I nervously approached the professor and admitted,“ I’m sorry, but I visited my girlfriend this weekend and forgot about the homework.”

“Mr. Kirsten,” he replied sternly, “What is more important, your history or your girlfriend?”

“Professor,” I said, “if I don’t visit my girlfriend, she will be history.”
