深入解读
Flimsy 一词词源不详，可能源自 film （薄层、薄膜）中间字母换位 + 形容词后缀 -y （多……的、有……的、如……的、属于……的）构成。
该词最早于18世纪初出现在英语中，即用来形容衣服、材料等“轻而薄的”，常意味着缺乏物理强度和质地不实，提供不了太多保护或者说不御寒，比如：

进而也被用来表示“脆弱的、易损坏的、不结实的、不牢固的”或者说“劣质的、做工粗劣的”，适用于形容任何脆弱或薄弱到没有什么价值或耐用度的东西，受压后容易弯曲或损坏，比如：
