深入解读
Platitude 是一个只比小站（微信公众号：田间小站）上个月推送的 latitude 多一个首字母 p 的单词，同样也与 attitude, altitude, multitude, aptitude 等有着相同结尾，可以一并联想记忆。
而从词源上来看， platitude 则与小站三年前推送的 plateau 同源，向前溯都源自于古法语 plat （平坦的表面或物体）。其中 platitude 最早于1812年由法语 platitude （平坦；乏味）进入英语，现在主要用来表示“陈词滥调、老生常谈”，常作正式用语和贬义词使用，主要指带有道德内容的说教性言论或表述，因使用过于频繁而显得无趣、无意义、不聪明或未经思索，比如：
