共同富裕是全体人民通过辛勤劳动和相互帮助最终达到丰衣足食的生活水平，也就是消除两极分化和贫穷基础上的普遍富裕。是邓小平建设有中国特色社会主义理论的重要内容之一。中国人多地广，共同富裕不是同时富裕，而是一部分人一部分地区先富起来，先富的帮助后富的，逐步实现共同富裕。共同富裕是社会主义的本质规定和奋斗目标，也是中国社会主义的根本原则。
