深入解读
说起 paramount 这个单词，很容易让人联想起以其命名的著名电影公司——派拉蒙影业（Paramount Pictures）。而对医护领域比较熟悉的小伙伴，可能还会想起日本著名护理床品牌——八乐梦（Paramount Bed）。
从词源上来说，该词源自古法语 paramont （在位置、顺序或程度方面居上的），16世纪30年代进入英语后即用来表示在权力或管辖范围上“至高无上的、至尊的”，常作正式用语使用，比如：
- 最高首领

从这个概念出发， paramount 很自然地就被用来泛指“首要的、最重要的、至关重要的”，相应也是强调有着至高无上的重要性或地位，或者说比其他任何事物都重要，比如：
