英译汉常见错误 | out of the question 完全不可能的，办不到的

［例句］　It is out of the question for him to get into the bus.
［误译］　他上那辆公共汽车是毫无疑问的。
［原意］　他不可能上那辆公共汽车。
［说明］　out of the question 意为“完全不可能的”、“办不到的”。它与quite impossible同义。out of question才是“毫无疑问的”、“当然的”（见该条）。
