守正创新闪耀着马克思主义哲学的真理光芒。守正创新包括守正与创新两个方面。“正”即正道，是事物的本质和规律。守正，就是坚守正道，坚持按规律办事。创新即改变旧的、创造新的，“创”是指有意识有目的的创造性认识和实践活动，其目标是“新”，即新的认识和实践成果。概括而言，守正创新即把握事物规律，根据一定的目的改变现存事物，创造新事物。
