Fanfare 一词比较好记,可以简单拆成 fan + fare 两个单词来记。不过它并非由上述两个单词双拼而来,而是源自法语 fanfare (一种号声),17世纪进入英语后即用来表示“号角花彩、号角齐鸣”,主要指在宣布重要人物到场或宣告特别事件等仪式开始前用小号(trumpet)等铜管乐器演奏的“响亮短曲”,比如:
- 仪式以一曲嘹亮的小号短曲开场。
