tangible economic benefits accruing to the country from tourism - 过渡政府拒绝批准进一步降息。
The interim government refused to sanction a further cut in interest rates. Currently, interest will accrue on the account at a rate of three percent.
The moribund company had accrued debts of over $6m.
As a result, the up-front cost for education is real, large, and easy to measure. The returns are equally real and even larger, but they accrue over a lifetime, are hard to measure, and vary from person to person.
