A little girl asks her mother, “How did the human race appear?”
小女孩问妈妈：“人类是怎么出现的？”
The mother answers, “Well, God made Adam and Eve and then they had kids. So all mankind was made.”
母亲回答说：“这个嘛，上帝创造了亚当和夏娃，然后他们有了孩子。 于是就有了全人类。”
Two days later the little girl asks her father the exact same question.
两天后，小女孩问她父亲同样的问题。
The father answers, “Many years ago, there were monkeys from which the entire human race evolved.”
父亲回答说：“很多年前，有一群猴子进化出了整个人类。”
The confused little girl returns to her mother and says, “Mom, you told me the human race was created by God, and Dad said man developed from monkeys. Why do you have different stories?”
困惑的小女孩回到妈妈身边说：“妈妈，你告诉我人类是上帝创造的，爸爸说人是从猴子进化而来的。 为什么你们的说法不一样？”
The mother answers, “Well, I was referring to my side of the family and your dad was talking about his side.”
母亲回答说：“这个嘛，我说的是我这边的起源，而你父亲说的是他那边的起源。”
