深入解读
Tinge 一词源自拉丁语 tingere （染色、着色），15世纪末期进入英语后也是用来表示“给……着色、给……染色”，多指轻微或稍微给某物着色，暗示颜色融合或轻微泛色，比如：
- 起居室被透过窗帘照进来的阳光染上了一丝金黄色。这个房间很简陋，仅有的家具就是一张床和一把椅子。
The living room was tinged yellow by light filtered through the curtains. It was a stark room with a bed and chair as the only furniture. - 他的黑发略有点花白。他甚至在青少年时期就容易情绪抑郁。
His dark hair was just tinged with grey. He was prone to depression even as a teenager.
从轻微着色这个概念引申开来， tinge 常被引申用来表示“使略带一点……情感、性质等”，强调有轻微影响，比如：
