深入解读
Bland 一词比较好记，就比熟词 land 前面多一个字母 B 。该词源自拉丁语 blandus （油嘴滑舌的、奉承的、圆通的、诱人的），17世纪60年代经意大利语 blando （柔软的）或古法语 bland （奉承的、赞美的）进入英语后，最初用来表示“和蔼的、温和的”，比如春天温和的微风（a bland spring breeze）。
温和意味着无刺激性，所以将这个概念用在食物或饮料上时， bland 既可以指饮食、药物等“清淡的、无刺激性的”，也可以形容食物、酒水饮料等“淡而无味的、无滋味的”，即缺乏强烈、刺激性的味道，或者缺乏丰富的风味，比如：
